This place feels like New York…I’ll be hitting Kilfeathers up over Christmas for sure
I arrived late as usual to the launch of Kilfeathers restaurant on Leeson St. After making 3 different dinners (vegetarian, baby, the rest of us) organising two different minders for the evening, and getting ready in 25 minutes flat while chatting to my 8 month old baby, the setting of Kilfeathers was refreshingly chic.
I loved the slick interior, brick walls from floor to ceiling, leather seating and marble tabletops. It just has a Manhattan vibe to it.
We were greeted with Moet and a tower of macaroons and the canapés were really delicious. I have to admit three macaroons came home in my handbag-they are pure decadence…
Michele McGrath was our host for the evening, I did her makeup in a teal blue colour to compliment her outfit.
Michele looked stunning dressed head to toe from Zara. Lots of people were asking where her fab dress and shoes were from. They were both Zara (dontcha know). Dress is €30 and shoes were €50.
All in all, Kilfeathers is a cool spot in a cool area of town. There’s a great, cosy atmosphere in the place. I fancy spending an evening or two there over the festive season. It would be lovely for a date night or even a bite to eat with the girls before heading dancing on Leeson Street.
